  • The Human Trafficking Task Force of Garland County will be presenting to the Jessieville community on November 19 at 5:30 in the PAC.

  • To help fund our self-supported athletic departments, formerly free Senior Citizen passes will be replaced with the new Jessieville Senior Citizen Season Passes for those adults 60+ years of age. These passes will be good for basketball and spring sports events and will be available at the first home basketball games for $20 each. 

    Student passes can be purchased for $10 at the gate or in the middle or high school offices.

    Passes are good for 7th-12th grade home events. PeeWee games (3rd-6th grade) and tournaments are excluded. 

    Without a pass, game admission will be $5 per person. Those with AAA passes will continue to be admitted to sports events free of cost with a photo ID.

  • Dr. Jade Sierra from UU-Computers for Kids (C4K) will be at elementary's upcoming PTO meeting to discuss available technology for students who are in need of a desktop computer. For more information, please attend the meeting, which will take place October 29 at 6pm in the cafeteria.

    The Jessieville School District is working with the Division of Elementary & Secondary Education to implement a framework developed by Marzano Research called High-Reliability Schools.  As part of this process, we are collecting feedback from parents, students, and staff through an online survey administered by the Hanover Research firm.  Survey responses will be anonymous and data will only be reported as a group.  

    You will see two questions in this survey that ask whether you are a European Union citizen or are currently located in the European Union (EU).  Hanover Research is required to ask these questions to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation, a new EU policy that gives citizens and others traveling in the EU greater control over their personal data. 

    Please complete the survey before October 25.

  • The regularly scheduled October and November school board meeting dates have been changed. The October meeting will be held on October 21 and the November meeting will be November 18. Both meetings will begin at 5:00 pm in the Jeff Click Board Room.

On the third Thursday of every month (with tonight as the exception), order a meal from Domino's and 20% of your purchase will be donated back to Jessieville Elementary. Each month, the class with the greatest participation in this fundraiser will receive a free pizza party!

    For middle and high school students, we will offer 5 to 6 items daily. We also have a salad bar for students to add to their plates each day. Other options for middle and high school students include ala carte items, available in the Glazener gym concession area.

  • 2019-2020 Jessieville School District calendars are on sale now. The calendars include athletic events, band/choir concerts, important school events, and student art work. You can purchase the calendars in each school office or the superintendent's office for $12. Calendars will also be on sale at home football games.   • Jessieville School District has been approved by the Arkansas Department of Education to utilize five inclement weather days as Alternative Methods of Instruction days. JSD has developed a PRIDE Day plan that outlines the alternative methods of instruction that will be implemented.
