  • After being recommended by Jessieville High School, sophomore Emily Crumpton was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hot Springs Village to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy. RYLA is a leadership development program directed by Rotary International to promote leadership skills in young people. Crumpton, a member of JHS Beta Club, A/B honor roll, and All American Cheer, attended the three-day event at the 4-H Center in Ferndale.

  • Parents and guardians are asked to keep children home from school if they are running a fever or exhibiting other flu-like symptoms. District staff are taking extra precautions to sanitize and disinfect the classrooms and office areas and would appreciate your help in preventing the spread of flu and illness.

  • Jessieville School District has been approved by the Arkansas Department of Education to utilize five inclement weather days as Alternative Methods of Instruction days. JSD has developed a PRIDE Day plan that outlines the alternative methods of instruction that will be implemented.
