Jaidyn Fortenberry came straight off the basketball floor and hit the track running. She scored in all four events she competed in including a personal best in both the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles. Hats off to her on such a quick turn around and successful transition. That makes her our girls performer of the meet for Prescott.
On the boy's side, the performer of the week goes to Jake Carter. Jake had an outstanding meet, he set a personal record in the 1600 by over 12 seconds. He then turned around and qualified for state and ran his 2nd best 3200 of his career. For his determination and drive in practice Jake has improved himself by leaps and bounds and for this has been named performer of the meet at Prescott.
Your Performer of the Meet for the Lady Lions goes to Alina Homan. She ran a lifetime best in the 1600 at 5:49 finishing 4th overall and a lifetime best in the 2 mile running 12:42 improving by 34 seconds and finishing 3rd!!!
Noah Eskew is your Lions Performer of the Meet. He finished 2nd in the 1600 running just short of a personal best and won the 2 mile with an indoor lifetime best running 10:07, Noah then turned right around and anchored the 4x400 relay team to a fourth place finish and split a lifetime best of 54.9!!!
