On Tuesday, June 8, 2021, Arkansas Governor Hutchinson announced a change in quarantine policy for schools for the 2021-2022 school year. Here is what he had to say.
“I am pleased to announce that if you are in school and you have been fully vaccinated then there will be no quarantine required if you are exposed to COVID-19. This is very important for our parents and our students. It means that you can continue in school and you can continue with your extracurricular activities, and this applies also to higher education in terms of their contact tracing.”
These changes are important for students, families, and the school district. Therefore, the Jessieville School District will coordinate and offer a COVID-19 vaccine clinic for students and parents if there is enough interest. Please complete this Survey if you are interested in participating in the vaccine clinic.
