The Jessieville School District is deeply saddened by the passing of Jessieville School District 3rd-5th grade music/middle and high school band teacher Bradley DeBow. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, coworkers, students, and community at this time. The staff and student body wish to express our sincere condolences to Mr. DeBow's family and friends during their loss.
Mr. DeBow joined the Jessieville School District at the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year and soon became a part of the Lion Family. He was a great addition to our staff and immediately began building relationships with students and staff. His love for Jessieville was evident from the very beginning.
We know this will be a difficult time for students and staff. Counselors will be available to assist students and staff over the next several days. In addition to counseling services, students and staff are invited to share their memories and say their goodbyes to Mr. DeBow by leaving a written tribute or drawing to be shared with the family at a later date. Materials will be provided in the building counselor’s office for those who wish to leave memories of Mr. DeBow.
Students and staff who are in need of counseling services can contact their school counselor for more information.
