Attention Jessieville Families

Due to the rising number of staff and students positive for COVID or quarantined due to exposure to COVID, the Jessieville School District will be moving to remote learning (AMI days) for Tuesday and Wednesday, January 18 and 19. The campus will be closed to students PreK-12th grade. Students should follow the district AMI plan. There will not be any athletic practices or games (including peewee) during this time. Teachers will be available virtually during normal school hours to assist students.

Meals will be provided for families if you would like to pick them up from 11:30 - 12:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please complete this form to let us know how many meals you want on TUESDAY. Complete this form to let us know how many meals you want on WEDNESDAY.

I am hopeful that students being away from school for five days will help to curb the spread of the virus, but we need parents and families to help with this. Please keep your students at home and minimize exposure to other people over the next five days. Please don't allow your students to have sleepovers with their friends.

While students are away from campus on Tuesday and Wednesday, staff will be doing deep cleaning and extra sanitizing of all areas of campus.

Our School Based Health Center will be closed during these days as well. Our Nurse Practitioner will be at the CHI clinic at the front of the village.

I understand the strain that this puts families under but am optimistic that it will be beneficial to everyone in the long run.Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
